Text Box: In an article on January 21st: “The state has agreed to lower the fee for the proposed priority boarding passes for the Bolivar and Port Aransas ferries.
The Texas Department of Transportation is now recommending a fee of $250 for an annual pass.

In another article on February 27th:  “The Texas Transportation Commission on Thursday approved a proposed priority-boarding program Text Box: for the Bolivar ferry.
“The commissioners gave final approval by a vote of 4-0,” said Randall Dillard, public information director for the Texas Department of Transportation. Dillard said no one from Galveston County spoke at the meeting, which was at the department’s headquarters in Austin.”

Text Box: members, is the removal of language that referred to the original developers to determine if it is still relevant. When the process is complete, a copy will be mailed to each owner and then filled with the Galveston County Clerk’s office.
Text Box: Kona Kai  Checking and savings accounts have been moved after the February BOD meetings agreed on an investment plan.  Recent changes in the banking rules made our requirement of two signatures for withdrawal impossible.  We now have $44,000.00 invested in CD’s with the balance in a free checking.  Guaranty Bank gave the best rates and terms. The signature issue was also resolved.  Thanks go to Walt Blandino for pressing the issue.
